There are two different lines of Nikon digital cameras: the SLRs and the CoolPix compact digital cameras. The L-Series of CoolPix cameras from Nikon are the L3 with 5.1 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom; the L5 with 7.2 MP and 5x optical zoom; the L6 and L11, both with 6.0 MP and 3x optical zoom; the L10 with 5.0 MP and 3x optical zoom; and the L12 with 7.1 MP and a 3x optical zoom. All of these are excellent choices if you are interested in Nikon digital cameras or any easy to use, point and shoot compact digital camera.
